10. Logan Blvd. Trail north and south connects all the way from Bonita Springs to East Naples. This ample paved trail is isolated and runs miles from Bonita Beach Road south into East Naples. Most sections are paved and isolated. Besides bike rides, Logan is also great for rollerblading and walking.
9. Vanderbilt Beach Rd. starts in the Naples estates and goes straight west all the way to beautiful Vanderbilt Beach in the heart of North Naples. Bike Lanes and side walks chase along both directions almost the entire way. The perfect bicycle ride for a sunny day at the beach!
8. The Immokalee Rd. Canal Trail runs from the intersection of I-75 and Immokalee road all the way to the front gate of Heritage Bay, connecting that community with others like the Quarry and Esplanade Naples, not to mention all the great restaurants and sightseeing destinations in between.
7. The Collier Blvd Canal Trail North runs from the north end of Collier Blvd down to Vanderbilt Beach Rd. where the new Paradise Coast Trail connector is located. This is a shorter section of bicycle pathway, but it connects destinations like Vanderbilt Country Club, Abaco Point, and Crystal Lake RV park.
6. The Lely/Collier Blvd Trail south connects the beatiful Lely developments with everything between I-75 and the East Trail section of Tamiami Trail. This trail is the gateway to South Naples and Marco Island, and offers several scenic wooded segments.
5. The Rich King Memorial Greenway is a paved, isolated bicycle trail that runs from Rattlesnake Hammock Rd. in East Naples all the way north to Green Blvd. A round trip on this trail is just over six miles, and there are only two road crossings the entire way. The south trailhead is accessible from Rattlesnake Hammock road.
4. The Vanderbilt Beach Rd. Extension in the Estates (completion: 2026) - This beautiful new stretch of isolated pathway adds a miles and miles to the existing Paradise Coast Trail footprint with a minimum of road crossings and signals. Don't miss riding your bike on this lovely new ribbon of safe roadway!
3. The Picayune Strand State Forest Oak Room and 62nd Loop Trails - If you're feeling called to nature on your mountain bike, nothing beats the seclusion and beauty of the Picayune Strand. Located at the very south end Everglades Parkway in the northern Naples Golden Gate Estates, the Picayune trail head offers ample parking, well-marked mountain bike trails, and unmatched views of pristine Everglades wildlife.
2. The Bird Rookery Swamp in North Naples offers a guaranteed gator encounter on just about every bicycle ride. This 12-mile loop is do-able on a standard multi-speed bicycle. Portions of the trail are single-file, but the entire trail is great with friends. Located off of Immokalee Rd. heading northbound after Randall Blvd.
1. The jewel of Naples - the Gordon River Greenway is a beautiful, natural isolated paved trail that connects Golden Gate Parkway with the picturesque Baker Park. While bike-riding, you'll cross multiple bridges over the world-famous Gordon River and enjoy a loop around the Naples airport with its observation deck that's open to the public to watch takeoffs and landings.
Best Bicycle Riding Locations in Bonita Springs and Estero
The CREW Strand trail that begins at the east end of Terry St. is a fantastic place to take your gravel bike or mountain bike most times of the year--but watch out for gators!
A wonderful seaside ride in Bonita Springs begins on Bonita Beach Rd. Westbound and follows the sidewalk all the way to Little Hickory Island, where the white sands and blue waters of Bonita Beach will greet you. Feeling like a longer bike ride? Keep cycling north on Bonita Beach Rd. and eventually you'll bicycle all the way to Lovers Key, and then Ft. Myers beach!
Looking for a short ride with some local history? Try spinning your wheels at the Koreshan State Park at Corkscrew and Rte. 41 in Estero. Bike past quaint old dwellings and chase your way along the serene Estero River. You might even see a manatee swimming by!
If you feel like a full day of bike-riding, try Three Oaks / Imperial Parkway, a north-south route that runs from Florida Gulf Coast University all the way down to north Naples and beyond. This route offers both bikes lanes and generous sidewalks and will take you past Coconut Point, Bonita Springs High School, and some of the most beautiful greenery in southwest Florida.

The Picayune Strand State Forest is loaded with flat gravel roads to challenge you as you ride your bike. Stiff Florida winds and beautiful scenery will make for a refreshing ride. Keep your eyes peeled for black bears and Florida panthers, too!
If you love gators, try riding at the Bird Rookery Swamp in the Naples estates. This 11-mile loop will keep you on your toes as the gators some right up to the trail to say hello. Be careful and always remember not to taunt or provoke the wildlife.
